The main constituent of saffron, Crocus sativus L., is called Crocin (CR). Water-soluble carotenoids in CR possesses anti-inflammatory, analgesic, anti-edematous, as well anti-oxidant properties, to increase the number microtubules sheep brain and have neuroprotective effects. For example, Alzheimer's disease (AD), where harm hippocampal cortical neurons results memory cognitive impairment, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), weakness muscle brought on by degeneration spinal, bulbar, motor neurons, are disorders which characterized progressive irreversible loss neurons. In current investigation, we evaluated CR's ability protect from oxidative that Colchicine (Col) Aluminum chloride (ALCL) induce. GSH level, SOD, besides catalase reduced Col model's Col-treated group but was practically returned normal received CR. When given instead Col, levels MDA, acetylcholine esterase, nitric oxide nearly levels.
